I value the way your family has done much of most of the work on this home since it's been in your family.  I had a lot of the same experiences growing up in my home and with the homes I've had as an adult.

I'm going to try to get my kids (all 3 teenagers) to learn as much as they can about home improvement, etc. via learning through classes such as the Home DePot classes here and hands-on.

Here's a schedule of the Home DePot July-August 2012 classes.  We'll try to get as many as we can!
